Description

A pair of table tombs, dating from the mid-18th century, are located 25 metres southeast of the chancel at St. Peter's Church in Bishops Waltham. These stone rectangular monuments feature identical designs, with moulded cover slabs and inset balusters at each corner, each having moulded caps and bases. The tombs also have moulded panels that include inscriptions; one inscription is worn, while the other commemorates Richard Auchorn, who died in 1762.
