Description
No. 108 Colebrook Street is a building from the early 19th century, specifically dating to 1833. It is three storeys high with red brick walls and features balanced end projections that have blocked elliptical arches. The stone arch and springers are decorated with vermiculated work, and there are carved stone keystones, depicting a male bearded face on the right and a female head on the left. The building has five windows, one in each projection. It likely started as two houses, as indicated by the two doorways on the ground floor, although one is now blocked, along with the right-hand window. The doorway features a good Adam-style door with a dentilled pediment and a fanlight above. The door has six flush panels and the reveals are panelled. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. A stone band runs at the first-floor level, and there is a brick dentil string at the second floor. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
