Description

The Running Horse Public House dates to the late 18th century, with later 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of stucco and has a tile roof. The building is two storeys high with four windows on the upper floor. It features three hipped-roofed dormers, each containing a casement window. A parapet runs along the top of the building, incorporating coping stones and a band, with cambered openings. The windows are sashes in exposed frames, with narrow double lights on the ground floor. A central porch has a cambered opening, and a flat-roofed rectangular bay projects from the first floor. Doorways flank the porch, each with a moulded canopy supported by brackets, and a half-glazed door.
