Description

No. 26 East Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with one window on the front. There is a flat-roofed dormer that contains a casement window, along with an upper sash window. The ground floor has an old shop front, which includes an angular bay with a hood that extends above the entrance, supported by a bracket. The shop front has thin glazing bars with rounded heads and a six-panelled door situated below a narrow fanlight.
