Description

House. Dating from the late 18th century, the building is stuccoed with a tile roof. It presents a symmetrical north front of two storeys and an attic, with two dormers above four windows. The walls are plain with wide moulded eaves. The ground floor features bow shapes on each side, each containing two windows, and framed by a dentilled cornice, a plain frieze, a fluted shallow architrave band, decorated scroll brackets, and a panel with a vase ornament, situated above thin pilasters. Sashes are used for the windows. The central doorway is surmounted by a cornice and frieze, incorporating a cornice on scroll brackets, pilasters, an arched opening with radiating fluted spandrels, panelled reveals, a radiating fanlight, and a three-panelled door. The roof is half-hipped with tiles, and includes a modern flat-roofed dormer.
