Description

No. 40 Kingsgate Road is an early 19th-century building, constructed in 1833. It is L-shaped and made of red brick, standing two storeys high with three windows facing the street. The ground floor features casement windows with elliptical heads. The building has a tiled roof, and there is a flint and brick outhouse that projects to the north. It is listed for its group value, as it is part of a collection of listed buildings from No. 40 to Kingsgate House.
