Description
This building is a row of cottages located at 57-59 Collins Lane, dating from the early 19th century. Constructed of brick with some blue headers, it features an old plain tile roof. The row consists of two sections: the left part has three bays that are attached to the earlier Audit House, while the right part has three additional bays and is 1½ stories tall.
Originally, there were doorways in each of the left three bays, but the doorway in the left bay has been bricked up. The doors in the 19th and 20th centuries have solid segmental head frames, and the doors between the right bays are 20th-century doors with gabled hoods. Each bay has 19th or 20th-century two-light segmental head casements. In alternating bays from the left, there are either two or three-light casements, as well as tall two-light easements with heads in gabled dormers. The roof is half-hipped to the right with a hip.
