Description

The stable block and service range, located to the north of Garlogs, dates from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features slate roofs. The building has a T-shaped layout, with the long part of the T extending north from the house and sloping along the west stem. The longer head section includes garages at the house end and 19th-century stables at the far end. The stem contains a tack room and an archway. The openings are made of rubbed brick and feature 2-light cast-iron casements. Atop the roof is a tall turret, which is slate-hung and topped with a cupola that contains a bell and a weathervane.
