Description
Warren Cottage is a mid-19th century cottage constructed from brick with stone dressings, featuring a half-timber and plaster first floor and an old plain tile roof. The building is one and a half storeys tall and has a T-shaped plan with a wide two-bay head and a single bay stem. The garden front consists of two bays with a plinth, and on either side of the centre, there is a four-light stone mullioned window. Above this, in the centre, is a six-light window set in a half-hipped dormer, which has projecting eaves supported by carved brackets. The roof overhangs at the ends in a similar manner. A large central stack with four shafts is arranged in a square. On the right end, there is a planked door beneath a carved timber pent-roofed porch. Additionally, there is a small two-light casement window beside the door and a longer four-light casement window in the gable. The cottage is similar in style to a nearby school.
