Description

Home Farm House is a farmhouse, likely originating in the 18th century, but modified in the 19th century, possibly by G. Devey. The building is mostly rendered and colourwashed, featuring stone dressings, with Welsh slate roofs that are mostly hidden behind parapets. It has grey brick chimney stacks topped with red brick caps and white square plan pots. The house is arranged in a 'U' shape and has two storeys.

The south elevation consists of four bays, with the two inner bays projecting. It features angled corner buttresses topped with Gothic pinnacles. The lower bays have pairs of French doors, some of which include fanlights above. On the first floor, there are composite windows with 8-pane sashes and flanking sidelights. Matching windows are also present in the first bay and on the east and west sides. The east side includes two extensions that project northwards: a two-storey extension with small-pane casement windows for two bays, and a single-storey extension that has two pointed-arched casement windows with 'Y'-tracery. The entrance is located through a small porch on the north side. The interior has not been seen.
