Description
The Cholderton War Memorial stands outside Manor Farm House. It is a Latin cross constructed with a rectangular, tapered shaft featuring a carved boss at the centre of the cross arms. The cross is set upon a circular base built of rough-hewn stone. An inscription is carved into the shaft in black lettering, reading: “1914/ REMEMBRANCE/ 1918/ 1939 – 1945”.
