Description
Meadow Cottage is part of a row of four cottages, now three, built in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of brick in an irregular Flemish bond and feature a tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with four bays. An extension was added to the right between 1900 and 1920, which is now part of No 22 (Meadow Cottage). Notable architectural features include a three-course vitrified brick plat band and vitrified blue brick cambered arches above the openings. No 23 retains a boarded door and original small paned casement windows. No 24 has a later thatched porch. The added bay has a pent roof on the ground floor, with the gable above the window being tile hung.
