Description

The granary located at the rear of the Village Hall dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, resting on three by four sarsen staddles. The roof is tiled and features two storeys with three bays. There is a central door on the west side, along with a small opening above it. The gables have shuttered vents. The ground floor is divided with bins, while the upper floor has been partly omitted for access, displaying interrupted tie beams and angle braces to the jowled posts. The roof is half hipped.
