Description

Lilac Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on Monxton Andover Road. It is constructed of cob and thatch, featuring one storey and an attic with two windows. The roof is half-hipped, with the frame exposed in the upper gable. The eaves are raised above the upper windows, and there is a pantiled outshot at the south end. The walls are rendered plain, and the windows are casements. The cottage also has a boarded porch with a gabled slate roof.
