Description

Murray Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was re-clad in the early 19th century. It is constructed of cob and thatch and has one storey with an attic, featuring four above six windows. The cottage has a hipped roof with eyebrow dormers. The walls are rendered plain and sit on a plinth, with some exposed framing visible on the rear outshot. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame. Inside, there are remnants of the original timber-framed structure.
