Description
Staddle Barn, located 75 metres west of Compton Manor House, is an early 19th-century timber-framed structure. It is weatherboarded and features a slate roof with lead ridges, resting on a brick plinth and supported by staddle stones. The barn has seven bays, with the ends and the side facing the house resting on a brick plinth, while the other side and the middle are supported by 52 staddle stones. There are double doors in the second bay from the left and the third bay from the right. Additionally, there is a loft door and window in the centre and end bays. The roof is hipped.
