Description

Brook Farm House is an 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, which has been later rendered, and has an old plain tile roof. The main part of the house is two storeys and an attic, with three bays. There is a long wing to the rear on the right and a shorter wing to the rear on the left, with a gable to the rear centrally positioned between the two. A 19th-century central door is half-glazed and sits within a gabled porch. On each side of the porch at ground floor level are small 12-pane sashes. Above these, there are two larger 12-pane sashes, and in the centre a 4-pane sash. The roof is half-hipped, featuring a rendered central cruciform stack.
