Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a small house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays in a double-pile layout. The central entrance features a six-panel door with flush bottom panels, situated under a timber trellis porch with a flat roof. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows with rubbed brick arches. The first floor has similar windows, but with cambered heads, and in the center, there is a round-headed window with a tiled arch. The roof is hipped, with wide eaves, and there are end stacks on the hips.
