Description
The stables, located 10 metres north of The Old Vicarage, are mid-19th century structures currently used as garages and storage. They are built of brick and slate and form a group of small service buildings around three sides of a courtyard, with a high wall on the fourth (south) side. Two sides are single storey, while the east side features two storeys next to the roadway. The roof is plain and consists of three levels. The brick walls are constructed in Garden Wall bond, with some flint panels, and there are two plain gatepiers. The courtyard-facing side includes a hayloft door, several small casements, and plain doorways. On the roadway elevation, at eaves level, there is a clock that commemorates the Jubilee. The stables are included for their group value.
