Description

Meadow Farm Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and thatch and features an irregular front on the southeast side, with one storey and an attic, and three windows. The roof is hipped and half-hipped, with eyebrow dormers. The walls are built in Flemish bond with blue headers, and the ground floor openings are cambered. The northeast gable displays exposed timber-frame construction, with some areas rendered and others filled with brickwork. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway located under a canopy supported by brackets. At the southwest side, there is a small single-storey service block from the 20th century, made of brick with a low-pitched slate roof.
