Description

This is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed cottage located on Mill Lane. It is a two-storey building with colourwashed brick infilling between the timber framing. The roof is thatched, divided into two sections, with the easternmost part being higher. The thatch has been cut away above the upper floor windows. There are three two-light casement windows on the upper floor, and matching casement windows on the ground floor. A porch with a slate roof is present. The timber framing features square panels with some diagonal bracing. A central stack with capping is situated over the eastern part of the building. A modern single-storey extension lies behind the original structure.
