Description
Dublin Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century, with some 19th-century features. It has brick walls and a tiled roof, forming an L-shaped block that is one storey high with an attic. The roof is both hipped and half-hipped, designed to allow eaves at the south-east end, and features hipped dormers with cills at eaves level. The walls are built in Flemish bond with blue headers, and the ground floor openings are cambered. There are signs of alterations, a high plinth on the roadside wing, and a two-storey projection on the north-east side. One fragment of exposed framing suggests an earlier origin. The windows are mainly 19th-century casements, including two splayed bays, and there is a half-glazed door.
