Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located in Longstock. It features a timber-frame construction with colourwashed plaster and brick infill, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ stories high and consists of two bays, with an outshot bay and an outshot store to the right, all set on a high plinth. The left bay has a 1930s door, while the other bay contains a three-light casement window. Above each bay, there are eyebrow dormers with two-light leaded lattice pane casements. The outshot store to the right is weatherboarded, and the roof has a ridge piece that slopes down to the right, where there is a stack at the end of the ridge.
