Description

Sindle Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, restored in 1983. It is timber-framed with brick infill, flint, and brick dressings. A brick extension is present, and the roof is thatched. The original one-and-a-half-storey 17th-century building has an 18th-century bay to the right, with a 20th-century lower wing behind. The 17th-century bays contain two-light casement windows, and the right bay has a single casement. A two-light casement is located in an eyebrow dormer over the right and central bays. The roof is half-hipped to the left and hipped to the right, with a stack at the end of the ridge.
