Description

Newgate House in Veryan is a building from the 18th century and earlier. It features a painted brick facade, with the south front cemented, and has a tiled roof. A beam above the ground floor indicates that part of an earlier timber-framed structure remains. The building is two storeys tall and includes two attic dormers, with a total of four windows that have casements with glazing bars. At the north end, there is a lower two-storey section with one window.
