Description
The House on the Quay, also known as the Yacht Chandlery and House, features a date plaque indicating it was built in 1673, although it has 13th century facades. The Yacht Chandlery and House is finished in stucco, while the House on the Quay is constructed of red brick with a bracket eaves cornice. Both buildings have tiled roofs, with the House on the Quay featuring two hipped dormers. The House has two storeys and four sash windows with glazing bars. There are modern shop fronts present. The side facade of the Yacht Chandlery has two storeys and three dormers, with three sashes that have flush frames on the first floor, and one sash with two reproduction bars on the ground floor.
