The cottage is one-and-a-half stories high with two bays, and an outshot to the rear. The front elevation has a swept-down hood on posts over a planked door, positioned to the right of centre. A single light window is to the right of the door, and a two-light camber-headed casement window is to the left. Above the left-hand window is a two-light eyebrow dormer. The roof is hipped to the right and has a stack on the hip, along with a stack on the left-hand end.
