Description
Yew Tree Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed of brick with a thatched roof. It features two bays and stands two stories tall, with an outshot at the right end that protrudes in front of the facade. The central entrance consists of an 18th-century planked door set within a gabled brick porch. On either side of the door, there are two 18th-century two-light leaded casement windows in larger segmental-headed openings. Above, there are two similar windows. A string course runs along the first floor. The outshot contains a two-light leaded casement window, and its roof is hipped, sweeping down to the right with a decorated ridge. The cottage has a central ridge stack and an additional stack on the right hip.
