Description

Two Ponds Cottage is a building that dates from the 15th and 17th centuries, with some modern additions. It has two storeys, with the smaller western section featuring a two-bay cruck-frame, while a 17th-century frame structure is attached to the east. The cottage has a red tile roof with varying heights and half-hips. The frame is exposed on the upper part of the eastern section on the south side, and the cruck is visible on the west gable, where it is fully revealed inside with arch braces. The exterior is finished in white painted brickwork, with red herringbone brickwork used for infilling the frame. The windows are modern casements.
