1687/0/10056 CHURCH CROOKHAM 16-FEB-04 Saddling Stables to the west of the ro ad at Tweseldown Racecourse

II Saddling stables. Late C19. Built of red brick with gabled roof now covered in corrugated iron sheeting. Externally divided into nine bays, each divided by brick pilasters. Metal casement windows. The end elevations have circular apertures and cambered openings. The interior is divided into stalls with wooden partitions with metal tops and queenpost roof with unusual interrupted tie beam and collar beam,together with original rafters. An unaltered saddling stables to accommodate horses participating in race meetings and part of a group of racecourse buildings at Tweseldown Racecourse.
