1687/0/10053 CHURCH CROOKHAM 16-FEB-04 Offices at Tweseldown Racecourse

GV II Racecourse offices. Late C19. Built of red brick but with timberframed front facing east with painted pebbledash infill and half-hipped tiled roof with alternate courses of plain and curved tiles. It is of one storey built in two sections. To the east is a verandah supported on chamfered square posts and brick padstones, incorporating three timberframed gables, nine 12-pane sashes and one casement windows. The rear elevation has similar windows with metal grilles. The interior has an original fireplace and dado panelling. The only alteration is a small later C20 brick toilet addition to the north west, not of special interest. Part of a group of little altered small country racecourse buildings.
