Description

The Hay Barn at Tweseldown Racecourse is a late 19th-century structure designed for storing hay for horses competing at the racecourse. It is timber-framed and covered in weatherboarding, with a gabled roof made of asbestos sheeting. The barn consists of eleven bays and is open at the front, supported by wooden piers. The southeastern bay is enclosed with a weatherboarded front. This building is part of a complete group of late 19th-century racecourse buildings.
