Description
Bailey's Cottage is a house built in the early and late 18th century, consisting of two storeys and featuring a continuous front with three windows on one side and one on the other. The roof is made of red tiles, half-hipped on the east side, and has brick dentil eaves, with a catslide at the rear. The larger eastern section of the house is constructed from red brick in header bond, featuring a blue header flush band at the first floor and arches over the cambered ground-floor openings. The earlier section is made of red brick in English bond and includes a massive tapering stack at the west end. The windows are casements, and there is a plain half-glazed door.
