Description
Hall's Farmhouse is a 16th and 17th century timber-framed building that has been modernised and features later brick cladding. The structure has a nearly symmetrical central part, with a modern projecting wing to the south and an extension at the north end. It stands two storeys tall and has a window arrangement of two:four:one. The roof is covered with red tiles and includes a large shafted stack. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, incorporating some blue headers that display the date 1709 in large figures. There is a first-floor band, rubbed flat arches over the ground floor windows, and a plinth. The windows are casements, and there is a gabled dormer on the north side. A notable feature is the Tudor two-storey porch, which has a hipped roof, moulded brick eaves, and a group of three lights with chamfered reveals above an arched doorway, along with a first-floor band and plinth. Inside, there is a large Tudor fireplace arch.
