Description

Springwater Cottage is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. A frame was added to the north end at a later date. The cottage is two stories high with four windows on the lower level. It has a red tile roof and substantial 18th-century tapered chimneys at each end. The timber frame is exposed in the upper walling, with red brick infill and other walls. Casement windows are present, along with a plain front door.
