Description

Springlands Cottage is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. It has an L-shaped layout. The original timber frame is visible, with plaster and some modern red brick infilling, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick. The roof is tiled. The cottage has casement windows and a stone chimney breast at the north end of the north wing. It is two storeys high and has five windows.
