Description

SU 7656 and HARTLEY WINTNEY HIGH STREET SU 7657 (south side) 14/13 A W Porter & Son, Porter Antiques and C A Porter Ltd -

Early C19. 3 storeys, 4 windows. Hipped slate roof. Red brick walling (Flemish bond) with flat rubbed arches, stone cills, plinth. Doorcase has an open pedi- ment with thin pilaster Order, a round arched entrance with fanlight, later door. The remainder of the ground floor has 3 shop fronts that at the north end (A W Porter & Son) being a good Victorian unaltered facade, with cornice end pilasters, curved tops to windows, panelled dado, detachable shutters.
