Description

The Old Lodge Hotel, formerly known as North Lodge, is an early 19th-century building located on The Avenue. It is three storeys high and features four windows on the main (north) elevation. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, complemented by wide eaves. The walls are finished in painted stucco, and the windows are sashes set in reveals. The west bay includes two sash windows, while the east bay has a modern square unit. The entrance is marked by a simple central doorcase.
