Description

The Church of St Mary is a building with medieval origins that was replaced by the current structure designed by Henry Woodyer. It is built in the Decorated style, featuring a chancel from 1865 with three bays, two of which have arches leading to the north and south chapels. The nave, completed in 1885, consists of five arches and includes north and south aisles as well as a south porch. The western tower was added in 1906. The church has a slate roof and walls made of white stone, and it features a crown post roof.
