Description

Clifton Cottage and Clifton Corner, located at No 9 and No 11 on Village Road in Alverstoke, date from around 1840 and are designed in the Regency style. These two-storey buildings feature two to three windows and have slate hipped roofs. The walls are rendered, and they include sash windows set in reveals, along with Victorian bay windows. The doorway of No 9 has a simple porch supported by thin columns topped with a cornice, while No 11 has a round-arched doorway with an architrave.
