Description

Clifton House and Eastnor House are an early 18th-century building with 19th-century detailing to the front. The building is stuccoed and has a heavy moulded cornice and a tiled roof with gable ends. It is two storeys and has an attic, with a symmetrical arrangement of six windows. The windows are 16-pane sashes with cambered heads, although Eastnor House now has modern casements in place of some sashes and a large early 20th-century shop window. The front features panelled doors with pediments supported by brackets, each with a rectangular fanlight above. There are five gabled dormers to the attic. At the rear, a brick band runs between the floors, and original windows are still present. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 6, Clifton House and Eastnor House, as a whole.
