Description
Madehurst Lodge, originally called The Lodge, is an L-shaped house built in the early 19th century. It has two storeys and features three windows on the east side and five windows on the south side. The building is faced with Roman cement, and the centre window bay projects, topped with a pediment-like gable. There is an eaves bracket cornice on each side and a hipped slate roof. On the ground floor, there is a semi-circular domed glass porch and a verandah on the south side, which has a glass roof.
