Description

The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene features a chancel, nave with a north aisle, and a west tower. This medieval church was largely rebuilt by Sir Thomas Jackson in 1864, during which the north aisle was added. However, the medieval tower remains, characterized by heavy buttresses and a hipped tiled roof. Notable surviving elements include a 12th-century west doorway and a 14th-century window.
