Description
The Stables of Great Abshot House are an early 19th-century building located on Little Abshot Road in Hook. Constructed from red brick, the stables feature a hipped slate roof and stand two storeys tall. The façade includes three windows, with the central window bay projecting and topped by a gable that mimics a pediment. The windows are segmental headed casement windows, with the first-floor windows being round arched, while the outer two on the ground floor are blank. The stables, along with Great Abshot House, form a group with the barn at Great Abshot Farm and Little Abshot Farmhouse. The barn at Great Abshot Farm is noted as a building of local interest.
