Description

Hook Cottage is an early to mid-19th century building located on Hook Park Road in Hook. It features a colourwashed facade with an advanced west side under a gable. The roof is adorned with a combination of fishscale and plain tiles, along with cresting and large chimneys. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which are casements with lozenged glazing and dripstone moulds. There is a porch situated in the angle formed by the advanced section. This building is said to have previously served as the school for the Hook Estate. Hook Cottage and Post Box Cottage are part of a group of buildings.
