Description
The Old Rectory, dating from around 1800, is a two-storey building located on Stoneham Lane in Eastleigh. The entrance front faces west and features three windows, with the east side of the first floor omitted. It has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with wide eaves supported by brackets. The exterior is constructed of yellow brick in Flemish Bond with flat arches. The windows are hardwood sashes set in reveals. The entrance is highlighted by a good doorcase with an open pediment supported by plain but full columns, and a fanlight above a semi-circular doorway. The south front has a window arrangement of 1.3.1, with a central projecting bow that includes French windows on the ground floor. There are short northern wings that are of lesser height.
