Description

This is a 17th-century barn located 40 metres southwest of Pickets Hill Farmhouse. It has been repaired in the 18th century and late 20th century. The barn features a timber frame with five bays and one aisle, supported by a Queen post truss. The roof is a half-hipped tile roof from the 20th century. The upper walls are boarded, while the lower part is made of stone with brick dressings and includes slotted vents. Notably, a tie-beam inside the barn is finely carved with the date 'June ye 20th 1769'.
