Description
Red Lion House is an office building that was formerly a house, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a 20th-century exterior. It has roughcast walls and a tiled roof. The structure is timber-framed, with 18th-century recladding and 20th-century roughcast. The front, facing south, has two storeys with two windows above four. The roof is plain, featuring a tile-hung gable at the west end. The walls are plain, with a first-floor band and a plinth. The building has Victorian sash windows above casements and a half-glazed door. Inside, the frame is exposed, showcasing a fireplace beam and a 17th-century chamfered door-frame.
