Description

This is an 18th-century house located on Bentley Green. It is constructed with brick and tile-hung walls, and has a tile and slate roof. The north elevation displays a symmetrical two-storey, two-window section, with a single-storey setback section to the east that incorporates a porch in the angle. The main roof has plain tiles, with dentil brick eaves, while the lower east section has a steeply pitched slate roof. The brickwork on the north elevation is painted in a Flemish bond pattern, with a first-floor band and stone cills. A plinth is also present. The gable of the east section has exposed framing. Sashes with exposed frames are found on the north elevation, with a Victorian sash window set into the reveals of the east side. A plain brick porch features a boarded door. The south elevation has two and a half hipped gables, with tile-hung walls. This elevation also contains three upper sashes, ground-floor casements, and a half-glazed door.
