Description
Little Barton is a house dating from the 18th century, which was refaced in the early 19th century and has a 20th-century extension. The west side of the building features flint walling with brick dressings, while the central brickwork is laid in Flemish Garden Wall bond. The east side, which is from the 20th century, consists of brickwork in stretcher bond, all of which is painted. The ground-floor openings have cambered arches. The house has a thatched roof with a catslide at the rear, a half-hipped west end, and eyebrow dormers. The south front has one storey and an attic, with three windows above four. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame, topped with a gabled thatch hood supported by posts.
